Terms and Conditions

• Payment includes 5% GST and is due upon receipt.

• Sessions may not be booked until payment is received.

• Once paid, the fee is nonrefundable.

• Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the Consultant's day that could have been filled by another Client. As such, we require 48 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Clients who provide less than 48 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged for the appointment.

• Any additional reading for writer coaching packages will be billed at a project rate.

• Wellness Coaching packages are good for up to 3 months from purchase date.

• Single Wellness Coaching sessions are good for up to 1 month from purchase date.

• Editing packages for writers are good for up to 6 months from purchase date.

• Writer Coaching packages are good for up to 3 months from purchase date.

Fiona Lehn, ("the Consultant") takes her Clients' privacy very seriously. The Consultant will never sell or share her email list or Client list, or other personal Client information. Note that the Consultant has a mandate to report to the authorities any Client's intention to self-harm or harm others, and any instances of child abuse. Otherwise, everything said between the Consultant and the Client in sessions and on calls will remain confidential. To protect both parties' privacy, when the Client opts to have Zoom sessions recorded, the Client agrees not to share recorded sessions with others.

Fiona Lehn, ("the Consultant"), does not offer or provide medical advice or prescribe the use of anything in her sessions or books as a form of treatment for medical problems. The Consultant's intention is to offer general information to be a support to the Client as they seek to improve their quality of life. While it is the Client's right to use any of the information from the Consultant's sessions and books, the Consultant assumes no responsibility for the Client's actions. Always consult a medical professional before changing or adding to your medical treatment regimen.

In the event of acts of God, or other circumstances beyond the Consultant’s control, the Consultant shall have no responsibility to complete the work, and shall have no responsibility to return any payment for work performed to the date of such circumstances. The Client shall have no other claims against the Consultant. Without limiting the generality of the preceding sentence, the Client acknowledges and agrees that the Consultant shall not in any case be responsible for any claims against brought against the Client, and the Client agrees to indemnify the Consultant for any claims brought against the Consultant relating to defamation, intellectual property claims, or contractual claims.

Additionally, for writer coaching clients only, the Client acknowledges and agrees that their work is original, and not subject to any claims in copyright or plagiarism, and remains their copyright; all fact-checking and research remains the Client’s responsibility; and there are no guarantees, and the Client’s work with the Consultant does not guarantee a publishing deal, and “publishing” in this case includes all manner of publishing, including digital, audio, traditional, hybrid, and self-publishing models.
